Web3 Portfolio

Web3 Portfolio Documentation

The Web3 Portfolio is a unique feature provided by Kingz, allowing you to showcase your Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection directly on your profile. Currently, this feature supports NFTs on the Ethereum Mainnet, with support for more networks like Polygon coming soon. At this time, we only support Metamask wallet for this feature. Here's how to use it:

Connecting Your Wallet

To display your NFTs, you need to connect your Metamask wallet to your Kingz account. Follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the Web3 Verification section on your profile settings page.
  • Click on the 'Connect Wallet' button.
  • From the pop-up window, select Metamask. Make sure that you're connecting to the Ethereum Mainnet.
  • Follow the prompts to authorize and connect your wallet to your Kingz account.

Please note that at no point in this process are your private keys stored, saved, or asked for by our platform. Our wallet connection process respects your privacy and security.

Signing a Message

Once your wallet is connected, you'll be asked to sign a message to confirm your ownership. This ensures that only the true owner can showcase NFTs from a particular wallet.

  • After connecting your wallet, you'll see a 'Sign Message' prompt.
  • Click the prompt and follow the instructions provided by your Metamask wallet to sign the message.
  • Once the message is successfully signed, your wallet is verified and you can select which NFTs to display on your profile.

Selecting NFTs for Display

With your wallet connected and verified, you can choose which NFTs to display on your profile:

  • Go to the Web3 Verification section on your profile settings page.
  • A gallery of your NFTs from your connected wallet will be displayed. By default, all NFTs are hidden.
  • To display an NFT on your profile, click on the "Show on Profile" button. If you want to hide it, click the "Hide from Profile" button. You have complete control over which NFTs are displayed on your profile.

Note on NFT Syncing

Important: NFTs in your portfolio do not sync automatically. They are only updated when a message is signed again. This means that if you sell an NFT after verifying ownership, our system might still display that you own that NFT.
